My extension does not slide up and down easily. I have loosened the four mounting bolts to align this table with the main table but when I tighten them, the extension table is hard to slide.
Thoughts.......help?

I wanted to turn a couple of lamps from Myrtlewood but I am finding this stuff extremely hard (no pun intended) to cut and drill.

I haven't had time to explore this thoroughly so I throw it out to you for some thoughts.
