? serial number not listed

I have a ER that the serial number is not listed and any of the pages that show them, It is ER20899 so i'm assuming it was made in 1953 sometime. Does this sound correct? Thanks

Thank You All

I just wanted to thank you all for all your help in restoring my 10er. My mom is 73 and has always wanted to turn someting. I got it restored just in time for her visit. She turned a maple bowl and a candle stick and they turned out great. She will be looking for a shopsmith when she gets back home ...
