Re: Jointer manual / snipe advice
Yeah, sorry GGp's "tables" are part of an older jointer. His SS is so neglected/abused I don't hold out a lot of hope, but I'll check tonight. Plus, you know, his jointer is green and the SS I bought is grey so who knows if they're compatible  <--- That was sarcasm just in case n...

Re: Jointer manual / snipe advice

About 1/4 to 1/3 of the way towards the back on the outfeed table. Somewhere between 3 and 4 thousandths. Not really ...

Jointer manual / snipe advice
Hey guys, When I bought my SS a few months ago I went through it to clean/adjust it because it was needed. I installed new blades in the jointer and spent 2 glorious hours trying to set the damn blades with possibly the worst dial indicator and base ever made. In the end they are all within a ...

I have a (re)finishing question
Hey guys, Thanks for all the help so far. My question is in regards to an older table my wife got from her grandma. Now that I am getting into woodworking I appreciate how difficult this likely was to make. I decided to refinish it for her about, wait for it, 7 years ago... I was younger and we live...

Re: A few more new guy questions...
Yeah I'm not sure it's official Shopsmith merch, but looks pretty similar. Also, about what angle are those pockets 15 degrees or so? Maybe mine should lean out a bit more to avoid jabbing my fingers on the blade above. Or is that what you're talking about?
