How is a bearing puller going to work? The silver part goes around the back of the part to be removed and the screw shaft in the middle goes on the point of the part to be removed. All you need is a speed increaser. That doubles the speed of the headstock and allows the router or shaper bit to be under the table. New they are like $280.00 and can be found used for around $100.00 or less.

Actually that paint job looks like someone really took their time and did a nice job. I was expecting a rattle can job over everything.

This may be a two fold problem. I just went out to check the runners and while the tables were apart I turned the depth knob. It is very stiff like the threads are dirty. Looks like I need to run a tap through the knob to chase the threads. We'll see if that helps
