Ed,

It works fine for me, but I am on Chrome browser. Have you tried changing browsers to see if it is just a cookie issue or possibly a DNS issue on your computer? Just a thought.

Re: Shopsmith Customer Support

I worked for a company with a world class service department and I know that in addition to providing immediate response and access to experts there was still an experience hurdle for support personnel to overcome, and that just takes time. It also requires some dedication to providing the personne...

Re: Shopsmith Customer Support

I recall in the past years when a call to Shopsmith Customer Support was very informative , but your response indicates that the forum may be a much better source due to the wealth of experience of the members for technical issues. Recently, I ordered a part for my 520 and after a week was not even...

Re: Shopsmith Customer Support

Doug, Forgive me for answering a post with another thread, but your question seems similar to what Jerry reported recently. You may benefit from reading that thread and my answer below. As Dusty pointed out this forum is a great resource and is certainly the place to come when in doubt about technic...

Lowe's changes veteran/military discount

Posting this for anyone interested. I know many times in the past on this forum, Lowe's hardware/big box store has been brought up as a good place for purchasing items including Shopsmith parts such as the PowerPro. This was because they used to offer a 10% discount on most items for active service ...

Re: Nail puller pliers that is new to me.

Re: Nail puller pliers that is new to me.

I'm a bit surprised at the negative feed back on this tool. I guess you are all way more skilled then I thought. Anyway I'm doubling down and ordering another one, just put the order in and it should be arriving on March 10. Ed Ed, Sorry, I didn't think I gave negative feedback. I was just sharing ...

Re: Nail puller pliers that is new to me.

I have had good success with channel lock pliers. Very much similar to yer new one. Same here, but most of the time I start with my Lineman's pliers (Electrician tool). These work great on most any brad/finish nail. Larger nails are usually removed via hammer claw and difficult ones, like when the ...

Re: 3" caster upgrade

What was the part number. I dug through my emails and found it. I ordered the 3" premium upgrade casters at the end of 2018 and below is a copy of my invoice. The template jig is called "Drill Bit Guide" and the part number was 556425. I strongly recommend anyone interested in the up...
