Re: power pro use

True you can kill the main power with the switch. But with an extension table on the left it just seem awkward to peek around the table to find the off button on the control panel. Or like you say you can kill all power and wait for the reboot. nova's remote control would be nice.

power pro use

I finally have got the new shop finished to the point I can start moving tools in. Finally getting to try out my power pro upgrade. One thing I have found so far is the way you have to reach around with a floating table on the left side. I wish there was a good work around for this but I can't think...

Re: power pro ground fault

I got to digging around in the panel and found we had wired the neutral to the neutral bar instead of the load side of the breaker. I appreciate all those who tried to help. Thanks a bunch.

power pro ground fault

Are ground fault breaker more sensitive than a ground fault outlet? I installed a dedicated circuit on a gfi. This one trips immediately on power up. You can plug in to a ground fault outlet and everything seems fine.

Re: 220 volt

I think the expense of rewiring is what i am looking at. Trying to think through if a 1/2 horsepower is worth the expense. I have not had any issues with my powerpro as of yet.

220 volt

Would changing my shopsmith to 220 volt make a noticeable difference? I now have that option would like opinions of people that have tried it.

jointech and incra

I have a jointech for my router table. I was wondering if the scales and patterns from an incra would work since jointech is out of business. I thought maybe someone had tried this before.

dust collection

Not wanting to reinvent the wheel. Has anyone come up with a way to add a 4 inch port to the lower saw guard and still tilt the table.

Re: Opening up the Power Pro head

If the company is in trouble would not be a surprise. All one can do is hope that they get it figured out. Having just upgraded to the power pro this is especially worrisome. All one can do is wait and see.

Re: lift assist and table alignment

What I am trying to do is realign the auxiliary table. I can't seem to align the base and headstock ends with the lift assist connected. I have managed to line this up before. The headstock lock is tight probably a little too tight.
