Thanks for everyone's comments....as usual, this site delivers. I was finally able to get my hands on a new bandsaw blade and VOILA, all of my problems were solved!!!! I have finally whipped out 3 nice circles for my homemade Thiele dust collection cyclone (also thanks to this site) and the bandsaw ...

OMG!!! What a cornucopia of resources!!!!!!!! Thanks for the manual and so much more.

Let me take this moment to say that I have never, ever, found a forum as useful as this Shopsmith forum. EVer question i ask, no matter how basic and uninformed, gets address immediately, frequently with pictures ...

Shopsmith Woodworking Self Study Course Manual titled 10 simple lessons to successful woodworking

This is apparently a set of 10 projects that would take you through use of all of the tools on a shopsmith. Would love to find a copy. Just missed one that was on Ebay!!!

SS Geniuses - I'm a newbie with my SS. I made a nifty little jig for cutting circles which works great on the much larger bandsaw at the school where i occasional take classes.

I put it on my SS bandsaw, and it did several things. First of all, it was very difficult going. I was going very slow ...

I feel like I might be coming to the SS well awfully frequently, but honestly, on some issues, I just can't locate a response anywhere else.

I just ordered and received (off ebay) an upgrade to the lower saw saw guide for my Mark V 500. The photo doesn't show the actual guard which works fine. But ...
