Re: Mark V Speed Control

Just for fun I measured mine just now using a phone-based tach (accuracy unknown). I appear to be getting about 750 up to about 5200.

Re: Mark V Speed Control

I just upgraded my greenie with a 1.125 motor complete with sheaves. As a result I had to adjust my high speed stop. I don't know what the difference is between the sheaves or spring on my old 3/4 hp setup vs the new 1 1/8 hp setup but there is one. Since there is no low speed stop, I can now dial t...

I'm sure it has a bigger / longer amp draw when starting at high speeds but maybe this is just an issue with the power strip? Any advice is ap...

I think their point is to game search engine results -- the more links pointing to the shady websites, the higher the shady site is in search results. They try to hide the links here so they don't get removed

Clue - white on white would be invisible. invisable link.jpg No doubt that's the intent. They play games with the font size as well. I think that's how they get away with sometimes hiding it -- on my iPhone, posts show up with the same blue background as the desktop version, but if they shrink the ...

Thomas got his spam in! Screen Shot 2022-09-19 at 2.01.49 PM.png Interesting, I don't see it on my lap top with Firefox but I do see exactly what is in your screen shot on my phone. Taping those blank squares takes you to the SPAM page on my phone. BTW, also using Firefox on my phone. Interesting. ...

Re: Magna Headstock Service

If the stud(s) is/are broken, I'd think a dab of silicone sealer or some mounting tape would work just fine to hold the plate on.

Didn't SS have a template for cutting the access hole if someone wanted to do so and install the later removable plate?
