Remind me of the operation of the wankel rotary engine. Of course, I want one! It seems from the slow motion that the bit is rising and falling to cut, so JPG's remark about a shaper is not unreasonable.

I hope you know this is not new technology. My dad came home from a business show with a 1/4 piece of plate steel with a square hole in it that was drilled. Same technology only I saw it about 50 years ago.
The steel industry has been using this technology for at least that long.
