Thank you so much. I intend to stick around and contribute. I have owned two Shopsmiths and am looking to purchase the new power head. I have also owned a number of stand alone tools. Just something about a Shopsmith. I can't get out of my blood. People complain about the change overs but frankly that is one of the things that I love about these machines. I am a tinkerer by nature and the Shopsmith appeals to that nature. First tool I reach for.

I have read this forum for years but just registered in January of this year. Not sure why it took so long! I have enjoyed the information from the members.

Maybe the admin should look into locking down the forum more than it is. Every other forum I belong to requires certain number of posts before one can post a link to an external site, pictures, etc.

It has gotten locked down a little bit more at times but we have noticed that the next step in tightening down the forum results in us not being able to do many things.

Being able to post "relevent" links in your signature is gone because of these spammers

And some other nice features have been disabled!
