"What ya need is a properly sized pin punch. Why are ya wanting to take this assembly apart?"

Actually, I don't but I can't get the Allen screws that attach the Base to the Way tubes back in straight. I was able to back them out no problem but with the Base Arm Pin in the way I cannot get them back in without cross threading. I tried a flexible hex attachment to my drill but still have not been able to get the screw in straight. Maybe just operator error or is there a better way? So I figured I would just take the whole thing apart, attach the Base to the Way tubes and then reattach the Base Arm. This brought up the complication of taking them apart.

Thanks everyone for such speedy and informative responses. I will definitely get a pin punch. Lightnin thanks so much for the picture as I also did not see where the pin could come out the other end but your picture made it very clear.

I don't think I would have told anyone about my blunder.
But I would hate to see someone repeat it if I could have helped.

I am always up for learning from others mistakes but I insist on making a boatload of my own. :D

I just got back from HD with a pin punch set and it worked like a charm.

Thanks everyone.
