Kreg Bandsaw Fence- need information

Post by backhertz »

I received my new bandsaw fence. I had been backordered. I have no idea if everything came because there were no instructions. Anyone know a place on the Internet I could find some? Thanks.

There should have been two sets of instructions one from Shopsmith and one freom Kreg, the Kreg instructions are very bad be glad you did not get them. The Shopsmith instructions are marginally better. Email me and I can walk you through it. There are also several threads here with lots of pictures.

Once you get it on, you will really like it. I have one on my 14" standalone- my SS BS is castiron table. I am taking it off the 14" and adapting to the venerable Shopsmith.mt

Kreg Bandsaw Fence

backhertz,

Check this site - under precision measuring equipment. You can download a PDF copy of the generic instructions. For Shopsmith specific info - you can take Paul up on his offer:

Thanks guys. After I wrote the message, I was looking at the fence and found a picture. Afterall, 'real' men... About 30 minutes later, I had the fence mounted. Ended up with some extra hardware though. I figure Kreg supplied a generic hardware kit. I found the kit relatively easy to figure out. However, I knew I'd need the instructions to precisely set it up.

Setup is very easy, it is the extra hardware that I don't remember. Do you have any photos, especially of the left over pieces.
