Thanks Jim. Looks like the real deal. Of late I've been ordering too much stuff so it will have to go on hold for a while, but that is what I had in mind.

I received my zero clearance insert from Shopsmith a couple of weeks ago. It was worth the wait. Meanwhile, I'm trying to think of uses for the one that was made too short. Any ideas?
