And that is one of the features of the SS I really love-- all the fences, gauges, jigs etc stay in place, you just replace blade with sanding disc.

But how sweet it is when instead of putting the sanding disc on you can just dial-in a fence adjustment of .001-on-up and run the board thru again.

(Good way to measure the thickness of a pencil mark, too- number of passes at plus 001.)
(yes, I admit it- I do play with the machine sometimes)
