The cat is already out of the bag on the step drill, it has been mentioned before here as a great time saver for this operation. Some have even used regular drills going by 1/32" up to the finished size.lightnin wrote:OK the video provided by shopsmith kinda says not to use a step drill.
I did not want to suggest to anyone to do differently if they screwed it up
then got a video saying not to do it that way..... then I'm the A%%#LE
I used a diamond wheel myself it was a snap.
So far as anything users post just remember you get what you pay for, and you sure don't pay much for free advice here.
