Incra TSLS fence maintenance

Post by bhiebeler »

I purchase a used Mark 510 with the Incra TSLS system and wonder fence. When I slide the fence I feel and hear the teeth dragging. Also the the micro adjuster does not seem to be moving the fence. Is there any maintenance information to align the system? Is this typical for this?

It is hard to tell what might be wrong but fortunately you have problems with hardware that is supported by and excellent customer service department.

Please make yourself familiar with the Incra web site.

This manual (from that site) should answer most of your questions.

I wish your problem fence was sitting on my Mark V.:)

I answered the first iteration of your post before I saw this one; to wit:

With the carriage lock handle in the uppermost position- there are two "lock" positions- does the carriage (fence) move easily thru its total range? [And do both the other positions work as they should?]

And is the 'zero adjust' carriage alignment doohickey set properly?
