This is the first time that I have used commercial liquid hide glue. I think that I am impressed. It's not as good as from the hot glue pot but real convenient and seems to hold well. Time will tell.
You were right on, Charlese. One corner at a time.
To square it off, I cut a false floor that fit very snug into the box and then cut off the corners so that it would not get glued in. When I assembled the pieces, the false floor squared it up.
The daughter is happy so I am happy.
