Thats what he said, asked color as well. He said the stand mount and the mark v mount are the same owners manual....odd

It includes exploded views and parts list for both models. The rest essentially applies to both models. Very few parts differences(power train and electrical stuff and stand).

Can anyone post a pic of the proper blade mounting sequence. I have the original mounting (with the spring pins) as the upgrades are all long term back ordered I guess. It seems odd how the blades mount comared to like a hand held scroll saw.

I am unpatiently waitng fro my owners manual.

I thought that all of the Shopsmith scroll saw used blade blocks. For blade mounting, the older saws had cutouts (jig) in the table where you placed the blocks and a recess along which the blade would sit when properly installed in the blocks. If your blades have pins in the end, the pins should be removed to work with the blade blocks. These pins can be carefully driven or pulled out of the blade.

All true, unless you have installed the quick disconnect mod. The quick disconnect does away with the blade blocks.

Yes, and it is still a blade block with a different type of screw to secure the blade.

Not much help if the 'blocks' are missing.

I can loan you a set if they are too far in your future until they arrive.

That would include the 'fixture' if needed.
