Double Tilt Base with existing parts?

Post by joshh »

I know I saw a thread about this, but after 20 minutes of failing with the search function I gave up.

I currently have a mark 505 and a 510 disassembled.

Can I take the tilt bases from both and create a double tilt upgrade? I know I will have I get some parts from ShopSmith but much less than the upgrade kit.

I plan on using the remaining non-tilting bases for a mini (with reversible motor) for a jointer & bandsaw station.

Does anyone have a link with instructions to so this? The double tilt...that is.
