Are you certain the motor is shot to the point of needing replacement? I'm no expert, but I recall stories where people thought their motor was shot, but was brought back to life. Maybe it just needs a new capacitor? Or a wire is loose inside? Or bearings are froze up?
Yes it is an A34 scroll saw. The condition is rather unknown and I am not even certain it is complete. As I have a fairly new scroll saw I doubt I will ever restore or use it. As to the newer version parts they appear to be a complete table set up (main and end tables with cross cut guide for a 500, I am guessing due to the smaller foot print of the table compared to my 520 tables)). Again I will have no use for these items. I also checked the tubes for the Mark V's I have they are the same dimension as the 10ER except for thickness. Trust me the 10ER tubes, aside from a small amount of surface rust are much thicker and no way I would cut them. My son and Grandson were by and accomplished a bit of disassembly and lubricating. This machine appears to be in rather fine condition for a tool that has been in storage for a long period of time.
My issue now is the motor which can best be described as a rust bucket mess. For my use it is to far gone to warrant rebuilding. I desire finding either a 3/4 or 1.8 that is capable of reverse and speed adjustment. I don't want much do I?
I need to apologize for no pictures, without going into details I was injured by a child while we were sitting in Church and am not walking well this week Okay this five year old's family were seated in front of us the kid left during the service and when returning walked down the wrong row of pews and vaulted over the pew in front of me. She kicked me in the knee cap of the knee I had replaced. The knee is swollen and extremely stiff. Most of my plans are on hold. I would love to hear of or otherwise find a source for the new motor. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
