Goldie Lower Floating Sheaves

The SS websiye indicates that the gold/brown anniversary models 60-63 had the poly V belt. Do not know, mine deffinately has a poly V with the 1 1/8 motor.

Thanks for the tip, never thought of putting it in the vertical position for lubrication.

Yuba, or Magna American?

Sorry to be be a pest about this, but, the changeover to 1 3/4" bench tubes has been elusive. Greenies had 1 7/8" bench tubes and some early Goldies with 3/4 hp motors/gilmer belts.

I am guessing it is a Yuba because the bandsaw that came with it is the same color as the ShopSmith and it has Yuba molded into the cover

The tubes on my Goldie, (if I measured correctly, and I am pretty sure I did) are 1 3/4". This was eyeballing it using an aluminum carpenters square.
