magna jigsaw oil level

Can anyone tell me where the oil level should be when full?

Fill until the oil just flows out of the fill hole. That's it.

The jig saw takes 3 oz. of non-detergent oil. Be sure to check that the vent hole, upper right side is open, not plugged.

Hello, your jigsaw must be mounted on the MarkV/Pwr Station or at least in an upright position.

Fill and oll level is done at the screw pictured below.

Is 30w too thick? If 10w is required I'll have to find some. Thanks for the quick replies.

Find and use the 10W non-detergent oil.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Air compressor crankcase oil is easier to find.;)

One option is the Mars 93240 Zoom Spout Oiler, specs available at http://www.patriot-supply.com/files/SI-122.pdf

Amazon sells it, but it can be found much cheaper (about $2) elsewhere, like here: http://www.totalvac.com/93240.html. A local HVAC supply house would likely carry it.

HD(etc.) has compressor oil.
