Forget the "Made in the USA" campaign. We have lost that battle. Too many of us opted for high wages and those lower paying manufacturing jobs all went elsewhere. The high paid workers are now spending their last Unemployment Checks (unless the Pelosi gang can get them reinstated and she likely will).
I think the only way to get a "New Majority" is to create a 3rd political party the "American" party. Their platform can be to take an idea, regardless of who thought of it and vote on it's merits. No adding amendments, pork etc. Let the bill stand on its own merit and vote on it, and all things ONE at a time.
No more slipping "Pork" for Senator "X" or Rep. "Y".
American Party slogan "One Bill, One Item, One Vote"
As far as unemployment, The problem today, it's become a lifestyle, not a helping hand to get over a rough time. Cut off the giveaway, and I'm sure they will take a job doing something when the get hungry enough.
