This got me to wondering if I could make a permanent stand for the newer version that mounts on the Shopsmith. Anyone done this?

There's a few of us that have set up a Mini station for this. Here is my go-to place for routing and bandsawing:

I have a 'permanent' drill press setup (base tubes are super short, way tubes are normal length) and just move the headstock to the top and lock, then attach the pin router.
Mark 7, Pro Planer, Jointer, Bandsaw w/Kreg, Biscuit Joiner, Belt Sander, Jig Saw, Ringmaster, DC3300, Overarm Pin Router, Incra Ultimate setup

JWBS-14 w/6" riser, RBI Hawk 226 Ultra, Bosch GSM12SD Axial Glide Dual Compound Miter Saw

-- I have parts/SPTs available, so if you are in the Seattle area and need something let me know --
