Making a plane

JPG, You can push them or pull them, whatever works. I do both.
If you look closely at the description of making the router plane, you will see that there is a slot in the body for the flat head of the thumbscrew. That keeps the head horizontal and it keeps the allen wrench vertical. It works great and only takes a few minutes to build.

Ed, First of all I was lucky enough to spend my working career building wooden boats so I have a bit of an unfair head start.
As for my bench, vices (Canadian spelling), inlays and such, if you have a few hours to spend cruising my blogs on LJ all will be revealed.

For "inlay" look for anything to do with marquetry. It is all there to show others how I do things so feel free to look and ask me any questions that you like.
