Novice frustration, then Freaken Sweet!!!

Barrel nuts???
Please elaborate JPG. What I am doing is where the vertical legs attach to the horizontal rails drilling cross grain in the legs, then into the rails, then a access hole cross grain in the rail for nut access, rails and legs are M&T jointed also, designed to break down bench in modular fashion to take apart for moving. Trestle style ends, connecting rails, and top.
If I could get a way to attach, post pics here, would be great, I am computer savvy to a point, still learning.
I dont know how to do the "URL" thing of pics in my pic folders. But as you are so good at JPG, I am hoping you will hold my hand and walk me through it. Were you a teacher at some point, you could have been, but then again, seems like you may have murdered some of the students that wernt there to learn!!!LOL

Got it JPG, the barrel nuts, I have used them in a rocking crib I made so could be broke down when infant no longer fits. I am using 1/2" bolts, I dont think they make them that big, but would have worked if so. If I hit the holes dead on.

Made to order fer your application. The barrel is sized to the cross hole. Provides greater surface bearing area without tending to split the wood. Not easy to find. Fairly easy to make.

Pipe like in galvanized plumbing pipe? How to cross connect, with a T fitting?
Easy to make only if you have what it takes to make!!! Ya that would have been the cats meow. In small size and shorter connecting bolts they are very common to find around here, max I have seen is 1/4" bolts at about 2 - 3" lengths.

Cut pipe to width of whatever the 1 1/2" holes are in. Drill and tap into(through) the pipe. If going through the pipe, drill the 9/16" hole past the opposite side to provide clearance for the 1/2" screw.

Screw through leg and into rail? If unclear, I will doodle a pix.
