Nice score. Looks like it was built in Feb 1981 per http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/faq/markv.htm. Did you get any of the accessory tools? A lot were purchased with at least the band saw and quite a number with the jointer. That will clean up real easily, probably just some light fine-grit sandpaper on the way tubes.

just bought the Evaporust today at HF. woot! first time been to the new store. Wife loved it too. she's already planning christmas gifts. gonna be hard to get her to buy bike parts, instead of SS parts. Probably won't be able to start tearing into stuff until Monday. Workin this weekend. so anxious to get working on it.
