Sanding Belts
Has anyone used the 6 x 48 belts available from Harbor Freight on their belt sander? They are a good deal at $14.99 for the 5 pack and they have the 12 inch discs for $5.99 for a 2 pack. You get a better deal with the 20% off coupon.

I have no experience with those belts from HF but for that price I think I would give them a try and possibly report on here of how they worked. JMHO.

I have a clone SS belt sander from Menards, I bought used, had a belt on it. I read on either the SS site or in there book, about "crowning" belts other then SS, so that they track better if I remember. I have not needed to do that, nor have I put a new belt on mine, so only passing on what I read, for you to be aware of.

Measure once, cut as many times as needed to get it right! Bob
