Labels and 'holes' look fabulous.

Missing something inside that should be visible through that new hole?

Yep. Had repainted red stripe and removed indicator while it dried. Also missing blade guard (paint drying) and auto track and guide bearings (backordered)

By my way of thinking - this is taking the "just in time" concept a bit too far. Hopefully I am wrong. They could be building so many band saws that they just can not keep bearings in stock.

You have done a fabulous job. The only other home made labels that I have seen that come even close are reibles. The two of you could probably have a side income just making labels.

As far as the labels:

I started by buying some "printable silver foil" sticker stock on Amazon.

Bandsaw Cover Label:

1) Downloaded the graphic Nick Engler posted long time back (right-click, save as) http://www.shopsmithacademy.com/logo.tif

2) Loaded the image into a graphic editor where I
a) Resized as needed
b) Removed black outer border
c) Converted white background to transparent
d) Adjusted brightness and contrast of grey circle until it was near black.
e) Added a black rectangle 1/4" in from the outer edges
f) tweaked color intensity and contrast of center logo based on test prints

3) Printed, cut to size, and applied 2 coats of matte clear enamel.

4) Taped top edge to align, pulled off backing, stuck 'er on.

Serial Number Label:
1) Did a web seach for "shopsmith logo" and downloaded a simple red and black version.

2) Scanned original label.

3) Loaded scanned label into image editing software (Photoshop) as a "Layer"

4) On an new layer, entered the red wording over the top of the scanned image, then cycled through fonts and sizes until I had an approximate match.

5) Repeated above, but for the serial number.

6) Loaded logo and resized / positioned over the scanned image.

(all the while I would toggle the scanned layer on/off to judge how the new label looked)

7) Once I was happy with the results, I turned off the scanned layer, and printed the label on the silver paper.

8) Matte clear enamel coating, then mount.

BTW, everything I did could be done in the (free) opensource program GIMP.

I see you painted the embossed aluminum blade guard. I assume it is aluminum.

Now you have an 'original'.

I agree the color combination looks great!

Yes. I debated with myself over painting the guard, but finally decided it gave a nicer look. YMMV.
