I've been adding a Veratis Twin Screw vise to the shop. Still in progress.

On the floor behind your SS. Is that some sort of forced air heat, or is that dust collection?

JPG, for the legs I used 3/4" black iron pipe and fittings, with the lower leg supports crisscrossed for support. I added angle iron to create an additional shelf. My long range plans are to build a jack bench for the lower, but hate to loose the shelf because space is limited.

Kablerj, it's a dust collector. It's my main line I ran it low to aid with air flow, didn't need any vertical risers.

Still haven't Had a chance for some shop time. The weather has been ok, but some other family issues have taken priority. Hope to get that squared away by the weekend.

Meanwhile, my son David was at the shop today working on his own project, so I asked him to snap a few pictures of the storage unit in progress.

Be advised, when you see pictures of the goings on in my shop, it will be in amongst a mess. I know that goes against the grain of most of you fellows. That's just the way I roll. The shop gets swept and tidied up between projects.

The face frame is assembled dry. Next I will disassemble, trim the top rails, and reassemble adding glue. Sides, dividers, and bottoms are attached via tongue and groove.

When you pocket screw face frames, these special vise grips do a great job of holding the joint tight and keeping the faces flush as you drive in the screws.

These support blocks will attach in all the top corners via tongue and groove.

Large drawer faces, and thin drawer faces. All the thin drawer faces need is sanded to size, and their edges eased because these drawers will close flush with the face frame.

Formica on MDF for the tops

shop is small so, don't go into the large projects.

For the last two or three years a main table outfeed has been on my arroundtoit list. Thanks to Dusty and others for exploring and defining the pivot points necessary to construct an outfeed table that stays in alignment when the outfeed table is changed to make a bevel cut. The following pictures are my version of the table.
