Re: Mark VII Info, maybe good maybe bad
Don,
I also bought p/n 1312008 from RonovoParts.com. It as JPG described.
Renovo seemed willing to look for the rack, but needed a number, not a description. When I checked deltamachineryparts.com for the rack for a 14-070 DP, it did not have a part number listed for the rack item number. If you have your original documentation, could you tell me the part number for the rack?
Thanks,
Jack

1312008 That IS from Dgreen810's original manual(he copied it to me).
I have a return prepaid postage label from them. The tech dept was supposed to call me but it has been over a week. It goes back in the AM. I have had conversations with the lady(answers the phone regardless of which dept is selected(same lady on the outgoing message)).

Seemed like a good idea anyway. Do any of you guys want to buy my drill press?
or better yet I could sell the rack and use my block and tackle to raise and lower the table or use the bumper jack from my Ford F-150.

Finally spoke with 'tech support'. Apparently there were two table versions.
He is going to try and locate me one with straight teeth.
All may not be lost!!!!
Nothungry, are ya listening?????

Re: Mark VII Info, maybe good maybe bad
I am ordering the Delta rack yu referred to as I have been operating without
this for several years. Also, I am seeking the speed control cam, wither
plastic or steel, if you know of one available.
Thanks for your suggestion.

I HAVE RETURNED THE ONE THAT THEY SENT ME. It will not work on a MVII. I have not heard from them since I returned it.
I am being patient(for a few more days).
So, do not order one until it is proven they can get one that WILL work.

Did you ever get a rack that will work or did you give up?

Glad you asked. No. But you reminded me to call. I returned the 'skewed' rack but have not gotten any further response!dgreen810 wrote:James

Check this out. Powermatic rack, 9/16 wide 34 1/4 long, tapered on both ends. The cut is supposed to be 90 degrees (No bevel). The pinon gear of a Delta supposedly fits perfect.

disregard my last post regarding Mike's Tools. They now say the Powermatic rack is bevel cut. probably from the same source that sent you the wrong one. The guy gave another lead to check will let you know what I find out.
