Picture time!
I finally got the remaining bearing for the electric motor, so got that together today, then put the headstock together.
Lots of trials and tribulations but I got there.
I added an access hole on the back side beneath the ShopSmith logo and it has come in handy already. I put the pork chop on without the dial behind it and did not notice until too late. If I hadn't had the hole, I would have had to take a lot of pieces off to make that right. Thanks Bill!
I am still playing with the speed control, getting it adjusted to where I think it should be, and just getting used to all the adjustments, etc.
It will be a bit yet before I start wood working with it, but I will get there.
