Since Russia is a 'baltic' state, the assumption is understandable.

The intentional misleading by 'marketing' is however deplorable though sadly all too typical.

Of course now the lines have moved with someone gaining access to the black sea........ but classically speaking.

Since we are well passed the intent of this post.... that being that menards has this stuff on the shelf(at least at my store) and what the price is and I've even posted pictures so you can judge for yourself if you want to go to the store to get some..........

Anyway here is information from a source that will tell you that we all have something to learn. If you have posted here you should read this. If you have any interest in this subject, not the thread then read this:

http://www.andersonplywood.com/305/baltic-birch/

So the material comes from some baltic states, it is made in a couple of countries and for better or worse people are miss using information about this material for sales purposes.

OK

JSB - OK, I see it but what is the key combination to type it.

First you preselect 'the character' from the 'table' by clicking on it.

Then you 'select' it.

Then you 'copy' it to the clipboard.

Then you 'paste' it into your text.

PITA but it gets you there. ;)
