Space between tubes on the main table for model 510

Post by reubenjames »

Does anybody know, or is anyone near enough to measure, the space between the two rack and pinion mounting tubes on the Mark V 510 main table? The purpose of the question is in regard to under-SS storage options--I want to be able to lower the table without the storage getting in the way of the tubes. I won't be home until late tonight, so won't get a chance to measure until tomorrow afternoon.

From memory I used 14" when I built an under storage unit but again from memory I think you could go just a bit wider, perhaps 14-1/4. We just got back from shopping and I have to get some lunch and then if no one has checked in with new numbers I will go out and measure to be sure.

Yes you have about 14-1/4 from inside leg to inside leg. So my memory was pretty good.
