Ed, My owners manual is #845620 Rev. A 09/10 D-48 is the last page in that section. Maybe they assemble the owners manual based on what is ordered? I ordered all my "stuff" at a demo at a Lowe's in the Richmond Virginia area about 1.5 hours away from home. He made it look soooo easy. And it may well be one day in the years to come.

Glad to hear this. I just had to figure I was in need of more sleep or something. I'm trying hard not to just do it the "other" way and go by the manual. Safety is #1 in my shop. No shortcuts or good enough, close enough. I need to set an example for my son who is going to end up getting all this one day.

I am unable to find the "router guard assembly base clamp" in the Parts Lists and Exploded Views. All pictures are showing this clamp being used for under-table shaping with a fence and pin routing. I might be confused but I am not seeing how you could use the t nut instead of the clamp with the shaper fence. Does the fence cover the rear miter slot? I don't have the fence so I'm not sure. Using the miter slot and t nut rotates the guard askew.

The way the fence is installed it partially blocks some of the t-slot so that the upright bar can't screw into the t-nut. From either side it won't cover the area of the bit with the shield in a position to come down without hitting the wooden part of the fence due to the rotated angle which isn't changeable short of drilling some additional holes which might weaken the integrity of the shield itself. Best to have the missing clamp and mount as designed. It would be nice to have a part number just in case a replacement is needed. I couldn't find it anywhere.

So, I have to pay $ .80 for the Speed Increaser parts list just to see if the clamp in the picture is actually included?! I don't need a speed increaser! I need the clamp!

Actually what that shows is using the pins and the guard instead of the fence in place.
