Your right but if they want to eat they better get here toot-sweet or they will have no cherry nectar to sample.

I got pictures from my brothers up in WI yesterday, they both had snow. The one closest to you is in Belin.... no the one in WI.

Berlin or New Berlin? NB is a suburb of Milw, Berlin I think is around Madison or Manitowac.
Ugly here yesterday, strong winds, white out squalls one minute, blue skis the next.
I dont see bees around here til later in May and only on a warm day.

Berlin, the one just west of Oshkosh. He use to live in Appleton just off 41 back in the late 60's I lived with him for a while, he and his wife owned a bar in town and he worked as a paper tester for one of the paper mills. He then moved to Omro and lived on one of the "channels" with a boat house on the water. Then still later to Berlin. When I use to go back and forth to the UP of MI he was pretty much right long my path through Green Lake.

I installed the bee house at my daughters house last weekend but didn't have a phone/camera with me.
Today (Sunday) I got the proof. ;)

Mounted on the south-east corner of her house. There is a large old apple tree behind me when I took the picture that has just started to bloom so hopefully we will attract some tenants. :)

Haven't seen the bees yet, but "If you build it, they will come"
Polar Vortex? What is that. We, (Shipwright, TooTall and me) don't live in the "Great White North" part of Canada.
We live on an island in the Pacific. (Think Seattle with a lot less rain.)
When there is an El Nino our weather actually gets milder. :D Most winters we only get two to four snow falls, one or two inches each) and it all melts in a day or two, this winter we didn't have any snow at all, and I only had to scrape frost from my windshield a handful of days.
Plants have been blooming here for months already. :D
Here are some photos I took this morning in my backyard.

And here a couple I took out on one of the main streets.
This shows an ornamental plum and an azalea in bloom, also note the palm tree and the rhododendrons in bud on the lower right.

Bee house looks nice where you have it. I still haven't painted mine but it's on this weeks list. Not that being on the list gets it done but at least I hope it happens this week.

Been checking our flowers and have yet to see a bee of any kind. I think we will be warming back up again here this week so I have hopes of some action on the Bee front soon.

Love all the flowers/shrubs/trees in bloom! Thanks for sharing.
