Anyone own a Festool 1400 router and could get a measurement

Actually either the 1400 or the 1010 I think have the same dimensions so either one would work.

The dimension I'm looking for is the center to center of these holes. From what I have read the rods are 8mm but I can not find the other dimension.

I'd like it in mm if possible but if not I'll convert. I'm thinking that if this is in native mm then the number will be even at like 80mm or something like that.

I don't own one but I just came from Lee Valley where I measured a 1010. One of the clerks installed a set of rods and lent me a caliper.
Outside to outside = 115 mm
Inside to inside = 99 mm
Center to center = 107 mm

Well that is super helpful, thank you! Nice that the clerk was so willing to be helpful as well. Just placed an order from them (Lee Valley) yesterday so I'm getting my moneys worth for sure.

Well looking at the catalog pictures again I now see that the 1010 looks like much wider spacing then the 1400. So my assumption was wrong, not the first time this has happened....... The two are not the same.

Anyway just wanted to say sorry for the error and if you happen to want to know the 1010 spacing it is above. The 1400 is smaller and I think it will be 79mm on center.

I was wondering if I could adapt my Hitachi router to fit the Festool rail system and their adapter. It looks like it might work with a transition piece between them. I have some parts on order so I can check it out.

If anyone is interested let me know other wise this can be the last post on this thread.

Had to order a block of aluminum and the plated rod and stop at Ace for some set screws but it is all together now. As always here are the pictures to prove it.
