Ben,
Well I finally got my positioner and set it up and I love it. Also a couple of things I noticed on your photos that you have the brackets that ride the rails installed backwards. The bottom of the bracket should be facing forward and under the fence.
Also I was able to get a Shopsmith upgrade kit from Incra ( which included all the necessary parts and a fence) to use on a positioner I was able to get at a cheaper price. If any one wants to know you can get the kit and the Red Base plate for $110.00 plus tax from Incra. They do not advertise it on their site but if you call them or email them can can give you the info to order it.

Re: Incra TS-LS Positioning Fence
See what happen when I get too excited and don't follow directions!!!!
I did wonder why I was supposed to place the piece of cardboard under the fence when attaching those pieces.
I wish I had been wise enough to talk to Mark before I had purchased the positioner from SS. I had the opportunity to buy the entire system which SS sells including the TS-LS with Wonder fence, and the books with templates, right angle fixture plus two stops and for about $400 NEW on sale. Using your bargain hunting method, it would have been closer to $500 for the package SS sells for nearly $1000. I am not begrudging SS their cost, and do not regret what I paid since all I bought from SS was the positioner, so my final cost was closer to $700, just that I could have used the extra for more toys!
Yes they are amazing. Part of the reason I made the jig using the adjustable stop collar was to move the fence tiny amounts. it worked okay for what I needed but the TS-LS fence is a whole different league!
Glad you are enjoying yours and thanks for pointing out the error of my ways (or at least one of the many!
Be well,
Ben

Re: Incra TS-LS Positioning Fence
Ben, Thanks for the reply. I was like you on those Brackets. I had them backwards on mine and could not figure out why the fence was hard to move. Then I looked at the picture on the directions (which did not mention how to put them on) and noticed I had them Backwards.
Enjoy
