I ordered it on 10 May, it shipped on 12 May and I got it on 17 May via UPS. I put it together yesterday in about 30 minutes with absolutely no issues.
Today I went out to make some saw dust. The first attempt was close but the pins were just under 1/128 too wide. I re-calibrated and it was much better but the fit was very tight (the first joint picture). Hmm...now what? There was not anything about this problem in the calibration/set up instructions. I thought the manual must address this. On the last page (which I had not read) there it was. How to adjust for pins too wide. A quick tweak and a perfect fit (second joint picture). Had I looked at first the problem would have been solved immediately.
The blade is set too high. That is why the pins protrude so far through. Not a problem since this was just a test.
The Forrest blades are superb as expected. Absolutely perfectly flat bottoms and NO tear out as the pictures show. I set up the blades for a 3/8 grove and according to my fractional caliper it is dead on.
The jig is fully adjustable for any size box joints up to a full stacked dado. The quality is second to none as those that have Incra products know.
There are instructions for use on a table saw and a router table and they make a version for the SS miter bar.
The I-Box is top notch and performs as advertised. Oh, that is my opinion. Others may have a different opinion.
