I have complete faith that those knobby things on the other end are really good for something. Regrettably, I am pretty much clueless as to what. :confused:

Shows the typical use of the guide adapter when connected to Festool router but in my case it will be Hitachi router.

Ah so! I could have used that just last weekend, to straight-line edge some 8' boards. If I had enough track, anyway.

Yet another reason to get a track saw system. I have my eye on the Makita, and I understand that the Makita track is interchangeable with the Festool.
