Leg Flex - maybe you think so but I don't. This issue, from my point of view, has nothing to do with anything other than "procedure".

Double Tilt reduces the unwanted movement but it does not eliminate it. That is why I cut/installed some shims (which are temporary at this moment).

Yes, I read it. However, my shop floor is definitely not level; it was poured with an intentional slope. It might be considered smooth though. My machine sets firmly on all four legs and slopes slightly downward toward the door (Shopsmith left end).

John's floor is flat. At least I believe that is what he has declared somewhere in past postings. On a flat, smooth floor even John has problems with end to end alignment.
