In that case it is a SS mounted planer on a power stand. A Pro Planer has a cast iron table. The other way to tell is the name on the in feed shroud. A SS mounted planer says "Shopsmith 12" Planer". A Pro Planer says "12" Professional Planer".

As for converting it back, why? You bough it so I guess you have room for it so there is no advantage to converting it back IMO. Some people will say, "but you have the advantage of the variable speed of the cutter head with the MK V mounted planer". Look on the SS website. There is a comparison chart of the specs of the two planers. Almost no difference in feed rate or cuts per inch. IMO, there is no reason to convert it back.
