Can someone Help

Post by dgreen810 »

Unless I am going completely senile, I am at a loss. I am sure I posted a reply with pictures of a modified SS 510 table with a Lexan insert with a Bosch router and IPM-fence set up on this forum. it seems to have disappeared since I have searched in vain for such a post. I have no idea when it was but it has been quite some time. Can someone point me in the right direction. The reason I would like to recover the post is that the photos that were attached have also eluded my search.

When I cannot find something I previously posted, it 'Almost always' turns out I 'previewed' it but never 'submitted' it. :p

I have recently prepared many posts that never made it to the forum. At first, I thought I was being censored. It turns out that all that is happening is I prepare it and then fail to submit it. Usually I will have done a "preview" before posting and then never submitted.

I blame it on distractions while I am posting but it might not be that easy to explain away.

Thanks a bunch!! I looked at every post except this one mainly because it was so long. How in the world did you find it?

Consider attaching an appropriate "title" to your posts. If you do that, it might help with a search.

I would never have thought to search for PowerPro Upgrade when looking for a Router Table modification.

In the Search screen I put
Search for keywords: Bosch router
Search for author: dgreen810

That gave four results including the start of this thread.

If you want to search for posts that you have made the easiest way is :
Somewhere near the top of the screen there is a link that says Your posts .
Click on that and it brings up a screen listing all the posts you have made.
Near the top is a field that says Search these results:
Put terms in that field to refine you search. :)

BTW What you did to the table and router plate is quite ingenious. I have long wondered why Shopsmith has not done something like this.

PS
Also in the search results click on [Jump to post] and not on the Topic
That will take you to your post and not to the start of the thread. :)
