Thinking about getting this for heat

Moms garage is insulated walls and a 8ft dry walled insulating ceiling, attached to the house on one wall.
To extend shop time come winter in WI.
We have had the discussion about fuel and moisture before for non vented heat sources, a gallon of H20 in the air per 100K BTUs.
So what do you think? garage is 432 sq ft, 3456 cu ft. It would not need to run continuously, just take the morning chill out to about 55-60* then shut down, and when got chilly again kick it on. I do worry about carbon monoxide.

I have the top one you listed and it put out a lot of heat but makes a lot of noise. I have another on that is an infra red that stands about foot tall and is inches wide that does a better job. I have use it when it was below zero in my shopworking in a tee shirt. I got that one at TSC and it comes mounted on a wheel cart. I think it is a reddy heater or Mr Heater. My woodshop is in the basement and it is heated by hot water from my outdoor wood stove

I'm not a fan of unvented heaters of any kind. They emit dangerous fumes, and they put out a lot of water that will rust your tools. Add to that the fire risk, and it gets scary.
My woodworking shop is in my basement, so heating isn't needed. The house is already heated.
But, my mechanic shop is out in my garage, and I chose to install a pair of 240v electric heaters for when I work out there. With electric, you add no water or fumes, and the fire hazard is almost non-existent if the heaters are mounted right.

I use mine in my workshop when working on my tractors. If you take the top one and drop sawdust within a foot from the front of it , it will burn right now. I use that one for heaating up my skid steer when it is -30 out

I cant go electric except for a 1500 watt Milk House heater, but they are $17.00, and have a fan, maybe try that first, I have used them b4, just dont know how well it will heat the garage. Other wise it looks like the infrared , which would be my 1st choice with a fan on to move some air/heat. Ya I hear ya about the moisture. Maybe the infrared to heat things up in the AM and the Milk House electric to maintain. A bit of experimentation, first just the Milk House then if need be get the Propane.

I'm sure this is overkill, but you may want to find something like it. It has an air to air heat exchanger, so you get dry clean air, instead of humid exhaust air. The big brother to it (Herman Nelson), is used all over the state up here. The joke among slope workers is that when they retire, they are going to throw a Herman Nelson in the back of their pickup and keep driving south until someone asks "what's that?"

If you go with unvented, be very careful. Get a monoxide dectector at the very least. In my line of work i have had to more than once take care of some pour soul who expired when using unvented space heaters. I'm told that with carbon monixide you don't realize what is happening and you just fall asleep. Don't want you to take an early dirt nap!

The couple I have been looking have a 18%< O2 shut off, if it works! I would get a detector or 2 just to safe.

I will heat up the garage with the propane while having coffee and BSen with Dusty, then use a 1500 watt electric Milk House heater with a fan a thermostatic control to maintain at 60*, course that depends on the outside temp of the day!!! My knew adventure, I like ruffing it, I did not have to walk to school and back up hill both ways in below zero weather and 3ft of snow, BUT I had to deliver my paper route in it!!!!
