Whare to get parts?
I have a Mark V, 510, from the mid 80's. My speed control parts need to be replaced. Does anybody make these anymore?

SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Yes the parts are still available. Try Shopsmith direct or you can send some of the parts such as the rotating speed control to a third party for a repair.
I believe that the speed control parts are listed on the SS home website as some of the 17 most replaced parts so you should have no trouble.
My Shopsmith is a 1983 and has been upgraded to the 520.

Knot just anybody, but the same company that originally produced your mid 80's Mark V!!! As you have already been directed to the "proper authorities" I will forgo doing so, but be advised that this forum is provided by the same company.

You have just stumbled onto what makes the Shopsmith such a fantastic machine.
