My bandsaw table is warped

My bandsaw table is warped
I was doing some maintenance and noticed my band saw table is not flat. I have a Kreg/Shopsmith fence on it and noticed the table has about about a 1/4 inch bow. I don't think it will cause any problems other than the fence hitting the side of the table when I move it over to the right. Since the high point is about where the blade is I can live with it but if there is a fix I would like to know about it.
Any ideas?

Re: My bandsaw table is warped
I know on my cast iron table that there is a part that is a sort of latch on the open end of the slit where the blade sides in. The latch needs to be closed and the fastener tighten. I would expect the AL table to have something like that but since I don't have one I'm not sure. It would be a place to start.
It would also be nice to see a picture of the issue using a known straight edge, the straighter the better and with a light behind if you can manage it.

I would take the table off and check it again on a flat surface , be sure you have all washers if any are required installed correctly under the table.
warped tables are not good !

Yes the aluminum table also has the slit and clamp.

Re: My bandsaw table is warped
I have the clamp in the slit so both sides are even. I will try to take a couple of pictures tomorrow. I put a known good streight edge on it today. I haven't looked to see how to take the table off and what washers etc to check but I will try to find some documentation on what to look for.
Thanks

Straight edge corner to corner and measure the gap with a feeler gauge.dynabase wrote:I have the clamp in the slit so both sides are even. I will try to take a couple of pictures tomorrow. The washers, if there are any, are there to square the table to the blade. I doubt that the washers will cause the table to be not flat. However, if there are washers, I would remove all of them and reinstall only what you need to square the table to the blade.

Re: My bandsaw table is warped
I think we need to be clear the difference between washers under screw heads and shims(which may actually be washers) between the table bottom and the trunion..

Re: My bandsaw table is warped
I finally got some pictures done. I have not taken anything apart. In the first picture I am pressing down hard on the front of the table. The second picture is probably more reasonable. The bottom of the fence is not tuching that bar on the end of the table.

Re: My bandsaw table is warped
I think we need to be looking at the other end of the fence.
Is the 'problem' warped, or fence does not rest on table?

Re: My bandsaw table is warped
The fence is fine. I checked it with a straight edge prior to taking pictures. It is definitely the left edge of the table. I used the same straight edge on the right side of the table and it was flat all the way across. Fence does not rest on left side of table but does on right side of table.
