The 20-25 pounds the powerpro adds can be felt...... I can still do it without the lift and as of now I only have it on one of my machines, that being one of the powerpros.
At this point I don't think I'll add it to the rest. Another 5 or 10 years I might need it.

Sit on a stool and drill with the table down as far as it will go. All the better to see and get the right spot to drill. When this is done there is no need for the lift.
Octogenarian's have an earned right to be a curmudgeon.
