The retractable casters on my Mark V seem to work OK, however facing the speed control side the one on the right does not have a 2 step operation. It is either up or down, any suggestions?? The one on the left is two step.
I occasionally have the same problem with the retractable casters on my Pro Planner??

Re: Retractable caster problem??
Not sure unless the the cam is worn, or the foot pedal could possibly be out of sync with the cam.
Attached are pictures of mine in the three different positions. Note the position of the cam and how it is the "thickest" when it pushes the plunger down so that weight is on the casters. Also note the foot pedal position at each stage and compare it to yours.

Removed the legs and casters, Re-drilled the mounting holes 1/4" lower, re-installed the legs and casters. Now they work as they should.
1st stage 1/4" from floor, 2nd stage 1/2" from floor.
