Thanks, that was quite helpful. And now that I've had a chance to look at some of this on a computer instead of my phone it's becoming clear to me. The bearing I hopefully snagged from Amazon for $11 looks like it matches the catalog dimensions then. I'll measure it when it's in my hands Thursday.
I've stalled out on taking pics, as I don't really have a huge desire to work in my unheated garage in 0-15 degree weather. It actually feels worse now than when it was -14 a couple weeks ago. We're supposed to get a warm weekend coming up though, so I hope to go at it with the Evapo-rust and bring some parts in the house that I'll want to protect from flash rust.

Of course it does. That is what the seller says. Do you know him or trust him? The seller posted a stock photo from Timken. Maybe you will get a genuine 205KLL2 and if you do great. That is an unbelievable price.
Let me say one other thing. If the shield is not stamped with FAFNIR MADE IN THE USA with the number 205KLL2 it is not a Timken/Fafnir bearing.
I agree the Amazon bearing looks the same but is that the bearing you are going to get? Amazon is not the best choice regardless of the price.

In this case, the seller WAS Amazon. It specifically said ships and sold by Amazon, and as soon as I completed the purchase the price jumped and said out of stock. I will know for sure Thursday, but I have also read reviews of Amazon having sending the complete wrong products from their own warehouse.

What about the inch sized E4 jointer bearings? I was looking at ordering 2x Fafnir S5PP's to replace the S5KDD's that are on it, and a lot of the pics from newer looking bearings say Fafnir Japan on them??

There is a Shopsmith Bearings PDF in the main folder and one specific to 10E & 10ER in their sub-directory.
Update - The Shopsmith Bearings PDF has been moved to the Bearings folder as the page was getting too large to navigate without segmenting things into folders.

HO-LY CRAP! I didn't dig around for it, but just came across that rebuild thread from a picture linked in Everett's bearing guide. I am amazed at what he got that thing looking like from what it was.
Thankfully mine seems to be in a lot better shape than he found his in. I don't think I'd hesitate to fire mine up if I reassembled right now, but that one looked like you wouldn't have been able to move anything that slides, much less free up every nut/bolt/set screw. The worst I dealt with so far was breaking loose the set screw on my 12" sanding disc, lol. Other than that everything moves freely on mine. I can only hope to one day achieve similar results. I might be all day browsing that thread.
