I didn’t see the follow up question to the 2 3/8 dimension on the #10 biscuit. Yes the length of the joint. We always designed our cabinets to have face frames that had horizontal members that were at least 2 3/8” wide so we could use a #10 in the joint. The #0 biscuits are not really useful as they offer so little surface area.
